Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins (born in Mexico) is a Mexican American sportscaster. She is currently working as a sportscaster at ESPN and is anchor for SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She's the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from the age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in helping her land her first position as an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami, where she worked with the producers of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. After this she was hired by she was hired by the CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. Her move to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. Reporting on stories about the issue of immigration and drug trafficking from both sides of the border, she served as an anchor for five minutes of the p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor and reporter for news at 9 p.m. newscast, which was in English and also an anchor for the news at 10:30 p.m. Spanish newscast. She wrote to The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Besides this, she produced Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra on which she was anchor. She was appointed as the anchor of the sports program for Despierta America Deportes for their morning program. As a sports anchor she was employed by Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta's parents are from Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1984 in Mexico City. She has a sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. In 1992, the couple divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she remarried Fabio Fajardo, naval engineer, who died in 2006 from kidney cancer. She stayed in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer and was offered the opportunity of a job. Antonietta had just graduated high school, but was already aware of the things she wanted to do. In the end, she loved the school and that they had the major she was looking for. After completing her studies, she was accepted into the University for a master's degree in media studies. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a part of her class, formed a lasting relationship with her. It was he who inspired her confidence, and his passion in Journalism touched her deeply. She was determined to exceed his expectations and never let him down.
