As we enter summer 2021, there is still a level of uncertainty regarding what Rotary will continue to provide the connections between people that Rotary members have valued over the years. While the motto of "hands-face-space" is sure to be commonplace in our club, it is clear that trust is growing and that there is a greater number of face-to-face relationships. Rotary is indeed changing. While we are in the summer of 2021, there remains a continuing level of uncertainty in how our social service includes the highly valued interpersonal connections that have been enjoyed by Rotary members in previous times. Though the old adage of 'hands face space' is sure to continue to be a component of our routine it is apparent that trust is growing and more face-to-face connections are happening. Rotary has changed. The Rotary network helps build friendships which last. The Pandemic was an impetus for us to take on the latest technology. While maintaining our online meetings for business meetings but we have reintroduced social interaction and service with a more secure face-to-face way. The new opportunities we have discovered are combining with our lessons from our previous pandemics to provide a brand perspective to Rotary.
